Mike has been a law cost draftsman for some 20 years with extensive knowledge of Civil Legal Aid Costing of Family and Housing matters in particular. This experience was gained whilst being employed with the Legal Aid Board/ Legal Aid Agency for a number of years.

Mike prepares Bills for Assessment to the Court, VHCC cases and uploading bills on the Legal Aid Agency’s CCMS case management system. Mike also prepares Inter-Partes bills to recover costs from the paying party and he also deals in the negotiations of settling reasonable costs and communications with Counsel in respect of their fees.
