Alison is an experienced housing solicitor (admitted in 2009). She has been working in housing since 1999 when she volunteered for Shelter’s homelessness advice line after completing her MSc in Human Evolution and Behaviour. She helped manage Camden Law Centre for 13 years.

Alison joined the housing team in May 2021. Alison is passionate about achieving the best results for her clients.

Her work includes:

  • Possession proceedings – anti-social behaviour, rent/mortgage arrears, succession;
  • Disrepair counterclaims;
  • Evictions and applications for re-entry;
  • Homelessness – challenging local authority decisions on review, appeal to the County Court and judicial reviews,
  • Challenges to the suitability of temporary accommodation;
  • Unlawful evictions.
