Private Client Paralegal / Legal Executive

Oliver Fisher is looking to recruit a Private Client (Wills Probate & Conveyancing) Paralegal or Legal Executive with at least 2 years experience. 

The role will include working on all areas of private client including Conveyancing, Wills, EPAs, LPAs, estate administration, obtaining grant of probate/letters of administration etc.

The ideal candidate may already be STEP qualified or looking to do your STEP qualification. You will be pro-active, multi-disciplined, have an excellent academic record and have experience from a well-regarded private client team.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Assist solicitors in taking instructions for Wills, Trust Deeds, Lasting Power of Attorney and Probate matters
  • Assist solicitors with conveyancing, ordering searches, pre and post completion administration work
  • Assist solicitors in drafting Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trust Deeds, Probate application documents and Estate Accounts
  • Dealing with client enquiries and quotes
  • Overseeing the execution of legal documents
  • To respond in an appropriate manner to clients and others contacting the company
  • To participate in the business of the firm in such a manner as to further develop knowledge and skills
  • Support solicitors with all tasks carried out in the department
  • Dealing with day to day correspondence within the team
  • Liaising with other members of the team
  • To carry out administrative work incidental to the progression of private client matters within the firm
  • To contribute to the development of the firm, office systems and the organisation of the firm
  • Such other tasks as requested from time to time to help the general work of the firm
