Claudia joined Oliver Fisher in May 2017 to work in the family department. She is currently cross-qualifying from a barrister to a solicitor through the CILEx route, and hopes to qualify later this year.
Claudia has worked in several areas of law before deciding on a career in family law, including criminal law, clinical negligence and wills & probate. She has more than 5-years’ experience in family law, and her work includes all aspects of family law including divorce, judicial separation, and annulment; all aspects of private children’s law, such as contact orders, PSOs and SIOs; domestic violence injunctions, including NMOs and Occupation Orders; as well as financial resolution following the ending of a marriage.
Claudia undertakes both privately paying and publicly-funded work. She has previously worked for a number of years in child care and has experience of the PLO, CPCs, and care proceedings. She now conducts much of her own advocacy in the lower courts. Claudia is a postgraduate from Kings College London, where she studied the LLM in public law and human rights. Outside of work Claudia plays for the Oliver Fisher netball team and commutes by bike to and from work
