Our Fees

At Oliver Fisher we take pride in providing transparent and realistic cost estimates. We provide an estimate at the outset of any matter and on request. While the cost of court action can be difficult to estimate our longstanding experience enables us to provide you with a realistic and comprehensive costs estimate. We are always happy to discuss the risks of your matter and agree an amount that we will not exceed without your written agreement.

Making an appointment: please try and make an appointment before you call in. We are open 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday and can see you at other times by arrangement.

We have a reputation for providing a high level of service at a cost which is extremely competitive. Any of our lawyers who will work on your case are qualified solicitors and will have significant experience in the particular area of law.

In some cases, our paralegals will liaise with you in relation to the mechanics of your case and will provide a support role, however, only qualified solicitors will be advising you and dealing with the day to day interaction with your employers and/or their solicitors.  We are happy at any time to clarify our costs or any of the above. 

Legal Aid Franchise: we have been awarded a Legal Aid Franchise for housing and matrimonial work. This means that, in these particular areas of law, our solicitors have the authority to grant emergency legal aid. We do not have to make prior referral to the Legal Aid Board which allows us to take action much more quickly.

Emergencies: we will always try to see you immediately in an emergency.

Making Payments: Oliver Fisher accept all credit card payments (over the phone, Internet and in person) including American Express.

All costs are subject to VAT which is currently at 20%
